VIKING POWER BITES

Named after the Viking varietal we grow

Basic Recipe: Can be cut in half

2 1/2 cups oatmeal

2 cups protein powder ( vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, coffee, any flavor and combination you like)

16 oz. nut butter (peanut butter, almond butter, sometimes I use half Nutella, depending on the flavor you’re making)

1 1/2 cups honey or agave syrup. I find agave syrup is not as sweet and more subtle than honey.

* optional 2 cups or more of dry cereal for crunch (Rice Krispies, Cornflakes, Special K, Rice Chex, whatever you have on hand)

2 cups fresh or frozen Aronia berries or to taste

Mix all ingredients together using your hands. It is very sticky and stiff. When combined, press into jelly roll pan using waxed paper. Refrigerate till firm. This is a no bake recipe and it will always change, depending on the ingredients you use.
